The liver is an important metabolic organ and detoxification organ of the body, and impaired liver function can lead to serious diseases such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. The main risk factors for liver diseases are hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, alcohol, drugs, etc. To prevent liver diseases, we should pay attention to vaccination against hepatitis B, avoid sharing toothbrushes and razors with hepatitis B carriers, etc.; abstain from alcohol or limit alcohol consumption, do not abuse drugs, especially painkillers containing acetaminophen; eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and less fried and spicy foods; and have regular liver function and tumor markers checked.

Urinary stones

It is a solid crystalline substance formed in the urinary system, and its main causes are insufficient water intake, unbalanced diet, and metabolic disorders. Stones can cause urinary obstruction and infection, resulting in severe back or lower abdominal pain. Ways to prevent stones include: drink more water, at least 2,000 ml of water every day; eat less food containing more oxalic acid, calcium and calcium oxalate, such as spinach, celery, peanuts and sesame; eat more food containing more citric acid and other ingredients, such as lemons, tomatoes and oranges; and have regular urine and ultrasound checks to detect stones in time.

Gout and hyperuricemia

A metabolic disease that mainly presents with red, swollen and hot joints, especially in the thumb joints of the feet. Hyperuricemia is the underlying cause of gout and is associated with excessive intake of high purine foods, such as offal, seafood, and beer. The prevention and treatment of gout and hyperuricemia include weight control, eating less or no high purine foods, drinking more water, avoiding overexertion and mood swings, and taking uric acid-lowering drugs.
